Our managing director Ian joins hit BBC One show DIY SOS

We are proud to announce that our founder and managing director, Ian Hodgkinson, has been appointed as the new Project Manager on the BBC's hit show DIY SOS.

Ian has a long history of working with DIY SOS, having volunteered his skills and services on many previous projects over the past 20 years. He will now be joining presenter Nick Knowles and his team of experts to transform lives and communities across the country.

Ian said: "I am thrilled and honoured to be part of DIY SOS. It's a show that I have always admired and supported, and I can't wait to get started on some amazing builds that will make a real difference to people's lives."

He added: "I am also passionate about promoting the building trade as a rewarding and fulfilling career choice for young people, and I hope that by being on DIY SOS, I can inspire more apprentices to join us and learn from the best."

The first episode that Ian will be working on will air later this year on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. It will feature a challenging project in Wallsend, North Tyneside, where the DIY SOS team will transform a rundown building into a state-of-the-art performing arts school for 500 children and young people.
